Africa cannot outperform the inner lives of the people leading it.Work With Me
Priscilla Kuti-Ukaegbu sits at the intersection of human development, institutional building, and Pan-African thought leadership.
She is the Co-Founder of Chrysalis Africa, the continent's first institution dedicated to the psychological wellbeing of Africa's builders. The ones already in the room, already carrying the weight, already coming apart at the seams. Chrysalis Africa exists for them.
She is also Co-Founder and Vice Principal of The Cave, a Pan-African Social and Cultural Entrepreneurship Institute, where she has spent the last five years designing and delivering transformational programmes that develop the next generation of African thinkers, creators, and community builders.
A certified Trauma-Informed Coach, Priscilla does the kind of deep, structured personal development work that actually changes how people lead, decide, and show up. Her approach is direct, relational, and deeply African in its understanding of what healing actually requires.
She hosts The Healing Room, a video podcast exploring the inner lives of Africa's builders, and is the author of the forthcoming book How Much for Your Nikes?, written for young Africans navigating ambition, identity, and a shifting world order.
Cultural Project
Priscilla is
also the founder of UNTWISTED, an
educational, training, and coaching ecosystem built for natural-haired
young women builders across Africa and the diaspora. UNTWISTED reached
over 2,000 women through events, coaching programmes, and community
building, sitting at the intersection of cultural identity, mental
health, and entrepreneurship.
"The inner life is not a private matter. It is a collective development strategy."
For the builder who is still functioning but knows something is off. You have done the work. You have built the thing. And somewhere along the way, you lost the thread back to yourself.
This is not therapy. This is rigorous, structured coaching that takes your psychology seriously. Together, we will do the kind of inner work that actually changes how you lead, decide, and show up.
Book a Discovery Call →Priscilla speaks on psychological safety in African leadership, the mental health crisis among the continent's builders, trauma-informed approaches to development work, and what Pan-African progress actually requires of the people leading it.
She brings intellectual depth, cultural specificity, and the kind of directness that moves rooms.
Invite Priscilla to Speak →For organisations that understand that strategy alone is not enough. If the people executing your mission are depleted, disconnected, or coming apart at the seams, the mission is at risk.
Chrysalis Africa works with institutions to embed psychological wellbeing into how they develop, retain, and support their people.
Explore Partnership →The Cave, a Pan-African Social and Cultural Entrepreneurship Institute, partners with organisations, corporates, and foundations committed to the holistic development of African youth. If your work touches young African talent and you believe education is more than knowledge transfer, let's talk.

Replace with episode art
Africa's builders are exhausted. Overextended. High-functioning and coming apart at the seams. And almost nobody is talking about it honestly.
The Healing Room is a video podcast that changes that. Each episode goes deep into the inner life of someone building something on the continent. What it costs. What it requires. What it has broken and what it has built.
